Jan graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and was a member of the National Moot Court program (JD 2008). Jan also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undergraduate degree in Information Systems (BBA 2002).
Before joining the firm, Jan practiced throughout Chicago as an associate at a large consumer bankruptcy firm. He has appeared over 1,000 times before bankruptcy trustees and judges. He speaks fluent spanish having lived and studied extensively in both Mexico and Chile.
Jan is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States Northern District of Illinois.
